What is Dexilant?

It is a drug used to cure Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease, also known as GERD. It belongs to a class of medicines known as a proton pump inhibitor (PPI).

It was previously known as Kapidex. The FDA has altered its name to Dexilant. The change of name has been done to avoid confusion with other medicines with similar names. Continue reading →
